List of awareness measures
- Massive campaign on all zonal railways by means of sending sms, distributing of hand bills etc. Also all the railways shall interact with media/press and brief about the safety issues at level crossing. Joint ambush check at level crossing will be conducted in association of local police. Cultural Program, Road-Show will be organized to make the public aware.

List of measures taken in our country that have improved significantly the safety at level crossings:

1. National advertisement in newspaper, radio, tv, cinema
2. Safety Campains by sending SMS, distributing handbills, posters, compact discs
3. Press Coverage and Media Interaction highlighting the potential Hazard at Level Crossing
